I love the idea of marketing businesses and helping them achieve success through growing their sales, customer base, and profits. I believe that running and owning your own business is hands down the single best way to attain a successful lifestyle for you and your family. But truthfully, I know it can be one of the most difficult things to achieve, especially in today’s competitive marketplace as well as in an economy that is unpredictable.
I’ve established and operated a number of businesses and know first-hand that if you do not promote your business aggressively and consistently, you will not see long-term success. The challenge for business owners has always been one of two things: time to focus on marketing, and enough marketing dollars to both compete and bring in good results. Most people will agree with me that traditional advertising like the yellow pages, flyers and other print media is wasted money. The tide has turned and businesses today are now facing even more competition to be page one of a Google search, try their luck at Social Media, or attempt to be featured on the next Groupon (group buying) type deal in order to increase their revenues. So far the only people who have made money are either the service providers or the “promotional services” companies and not the businesses themselves.
While consulting for small businesses, I saw how many business owners were literally throwing away money on advertising and marketing that simply wasn’t working, and in many cases even helping their competition get ahead of them. That is when I decided to create a marketing formula to help business owners succeed.
I always strive for win-win partnerships in life and in business. This is the core of what we do at Impact Ventures Inc.
It motivates me to be able to generate new leads and customers/clients for growth-oriented businesses that have a desire to grow and make a real difference for their customers/clients. It is a further incentive to see these businesses compete so well with larger, established companies that have more resources at their disposal.The most gratifying part is knowing that each time we help a business get a new client/customer, a trend is established that will see their business grow for years to come.
